Perception of Students as a Beginner Voter on General Election in Cianjur District

In this simultaneous election, legislative elections for the regions, provinces, and center as well election of presidential pairs. There is an assumption that with implementation executive (Candidates President-Vice President), there appears to be imbalance between Candidates President legislature so contest gets more attention than election. The public quite enthusiastic about welcoming a participation rate 81%, which high when compared previous elections. This study examines students' perceptions survey results regarding system socialization 2019 on April 17, 2019. uses quantitative methods using questionnaire students. For beginner voters who in were represented Universitas Suryakancana students sample level 1 2 Teaching Education Faculty, Suryakancana, random sampling Cianjur district sufficiently representative. conclusions article are: 1) campaign media political education seen influencing choice candidates both elections; 2) Social media, most dominant voters' preferences 3) Beginner saw necessity felt voting very decisive vote acquisition; 4) response first-time choices based character authority prospective leaders; 5) reaction parties democratic government requires multiple parties.
